I just started getting this warm sensation as well. Looks like no one has figured out what is causing it. Same thing, feels almost like someone is pouring warm water on my lower right abdomen and it comes and goes with no pain.

I've been having the same thing for several weeks now. It feels as though warm water has been poured on you just under your rib cage on my right side. my doctors also recently happened to find a tumor growing on my right kidney that is pushing towards my back. They're not positive but they said it could be pushing on a nerve, and then causing that warm sensation. Hopefully this is not the exact case for the rest of you, but it could potentially be a nerve issue from what I've been told.

This is so weird, but I've started having this sensation, too! I keep thinking I've put my cell phone in my pocket or something, but it feels really hot (completely painless) on my lower right abdomen. I've already had an appendectomy, so I know it's not that. Would love to know what it is!

I have a sensation on my right abdominal side that feels like warm water running for just a few seconds, maybe once or twice a week. What does it mean? Should I be worried?

Hi, I have been having similar warm to moderately hot sensation right lateral nposterior (hard slap) causing bit of sweating at night. Had unrelated MRI and it showed i have abdominal deep muscle lipoma though not sure thats related. Also i was thinking if its anything to do with previois chicken pox varicella virus playing on my nerves. This feeling comes mainly after abdominal exercise as I notice it more after vigourous abs session including tingling sharp pains on n off but otherwise okay. My GP has no idea why but hoping its nothing serious other than nerves like soneone mentioned earlier.

I have the same thing, but occasionally it's my neck and once the bottom of my feet, I've had every test known to man. neurologists MD's nobody has an answer, it's frustrating. One person said it could be reffered from a pinched nerve and I do have bad spinal issues, but they only happen every 6 months or so.
