In the past I've been lazy in selecting my lubricants for anal play, so to speak...
For some time I used a mildly irritating scented lotion purchased from a discount store, lol, so it isn't high quality obviously, to the point that the bottle is mostly used up. After hearing a bit about people taking medications, alcohol, etc through their bums it dawned on me that maybe some of the chemicals in the lotion could have been harmful to my system ala absorption and particularly transportation to my brain and other organs via my bloodstream in (from my understanding) a very direct manner. Am I being paranoid to think there's anything in a cheap lotion that could have done harm to me in any way? I'll do my research before using anything irritating on my ass again, don't worry, but I'd like to know what I did couldn't have hurt me, which is what I'm leaning towards believing. Because you'd think if it's okay for your skin it's alright to ingest the ingredients(but not recommended of course), right?
me again, ingredients in the lotion are:

"Water (Agua), Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerol Monostearate, Mineral Oil, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Cocoa Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropyl Butylcabamate, DMDM Hydantoin, Fragrance, FD&C Yellow #5"

Any experts on this stuff? Was taking trace amounts of these things rectally a bad idea? Some of these (and I looked them all up just now) are toxic in large amounts, but there was no mention of suppository-style intake. So could that have made a difference, versus just using it as directed (on the skin externally)? I'm starting to regret ever using it as a lube even more. :-)
