The other day i was at a friends house and when i got there i smoked a cigarette then hung out for a wile. later we decided to go outside and smoke some weed. after a few hits i started to feel a rush in my head which i thought was normal but once we started walking back to the house my vision started fading to a purple. at first it wasn't bad i could still see my two friends but it kept getting more and more distorted to a point where i couldn't even see the outline of my friend. Everything was purple and wavy and if i were to see an outline it was a florescent white that kind of glowed. i was holding on to my friends arm so she could guide me to the house. i kept repeating i couldn't see. When it got to the worst point I thought i was gonna fall or pass out. I couldn't even talk or think. I couldn't feel the rest of my body either. this distorted vision only lasted for a few minutes until i could faintly see outline again and my vision slowly went back to normal. No one there knew what had happened and I have been looking all over the internet for an answer for what happened and haven't found one. I was wondering maybe if the cigarette i had earlier could have induced this reaction. Also another factor that could have caused this is that i frequently get headaches and easily get light headed. At the time when this happened i was feeling perfectly fine and i was standing the whole time so its hard for me to think i could have gotten lightheaded. Also I think maybe it could have been the batch we smoked, at the moment I am afraid to smoke any kind of weed because i don't know how serious that reaction was and if it could lead to something worse. If you know anything about this please let me know. thank you. %-)

It's sounds as if you've looked at the many factors surrounding your symptoms & narrowed them down quite well. However, I don't understand what your question is. Do you want someone to tell you that these symptoms were not related to the pot, so that you can smoke again?

Honestly- I think the fact that you have already experienced light-headedness & headaches is a key factor here. Perhaps the smoking (of both tabacco & pot) made these already existing symptoms worse? or, as you were  not experiencing them at the time, encouraged an 'attack' of these symptoms.

My advice would be to see a doctor about the symptoms that you have already experienced. It's quite unlikely that the smoking or the pot actually caused them to happen, but that's not to say that smoking didn't encourage an attack of these symptoms. Smoking anything can cause lightheadness & feelings of sickness, as you are replacing oxygen in the bloodstream with a toxin. However, these experiences are individual to the smoker and not all smokers have them.

It could also be that you experienced a 'Whitey'. This is where an inexperienced/irregular marijuana smoker inhales too much in a toke & THC floods the bloodstream. It results in temporary feelings of sickness, loss of sight or dizzyness & sometimes, an anxiety attack. I would also consider your nutritional state at the time of your smoking- had you eaten or drunk anything prior to toking? Being hungry & then smoking can cause someone to 'white-out' (i.e. induce a whitey).

Hope this answers your questions & good luck.
