I had sex for the first time at the beginning of this month and now I am extremely worried.
About a week ago (last friday) my vulva started burning... at first it was like an icy-hot kinda burn. Not unbearable but noticeable. I gave it a couple days before deciding to go to the doc. she gave me the standard std tests. chlamydia, gonorrhea, and some bacterial test that she was able to to get the results from that day.(guessing it was for a yeast infection)
SO of course, i was rooting the yeasty. Negative. I haven't heard back from her so the other tests must too be negative.... WORRIED! I really don't want this to be herpes or anything else that is not curable.
Its been over a week and this burning refuses to stop. I have been alternating between warm water soaks and ice. Its all over my vulva. I haven't noticed anything that looks like a blister, though my anus seems to be inflamed with a couple small painless lumps right around the hole. (almost inside.) It does not burn to pee. Nothing itches. My discharge has been less than normal. None on my underwear. (i usually have a lot) Its clear and white and really slimy. (the consistency of snot) It does not have any kind of bad odor. Looks like my vagina is a little inflamed as well... though Im not sure because i have never done such a thorough inspection prior to this.

I think I'm falling into a depression here. I'm not eating. Online every minute looking for answers or Checking myself with a little compact mirror. That is, of course, when I'm not sleeping. Which I have been doing a lot. Dreams help me escape the reality of it all.
I have been told that it will take up to 3 months for herpes antibodies to show up in my blood..... And here i was planning on getting a blood test done tomorrow... Hopefully these symptoms subside before 3 months. I don't know what to do. Help? :'(

we put a condom on before he went in. But there was skin to skin contact at some point prior.

Your fine then honey! What I think it is, is probbaly a reaction to the latex condom! Also when you have your first time there is a LOT of emotions, and you might not have been lubricated enough and there was friction created! Ask him if he has ever had unprotected sex!? Depending on what skin you are talking about, I think there should be no problem! Also know that sexually active women are more prone to UTI's and yeast infections! Which you could be experiencing right now! So just use water to wash the area for now and keep an eye on it OK? You can also use Polysporin cream! This really helps with the irritation and the pain! Does this help you?!

Did you ever find out what you have? I had sex recently (lots of risky foreplay unfortunately) and now I having been having the EXACT same symptoms as you for over a month. Slightly inflamed vagina, icy hot burn, discharge the consistency of clear snot. I have been tested for the usual STDs with negative results. Still need to wait til the 3 month mark to test for HIV though. I'm very frightened and havent even been able to eat or sleep. I have searched endlessly on the internet for an answer...
