I have MS... And I have the same tingling sensation around my ribs and a little lower... It comes and goes.

I also feel this but it hurts sometimes, I am the kind of person to stress heavily and looking up some things that it might be isn't helping me at all.

I have not been to the docter yet, since highschool has not been giving me any free time with my homework and assignments. :)

Hey all. I'm having these same symptoms. It's a fluttering sensation. It feels like I'm being tickled from inside the skin. It's not painful whatsoever but very uncomfortable. It's on the left side and makes it very hard to focus on daily activities

I had shingles which started with muscle spasms on left side under chest above lower ribcage. After two days the rash appeared with chicken pox type near spine and rash curving around on left side of body. The chicken pox virus lives in the root ganglia of the spine and attacks a nerve path. Now I have PHN, the neuralgic pain which has continued for over two years.

It's your Adrenal Glands guys, due to Low Testosterone and too much Estrogen. I've had this for a while now. I'm only 22 but i've had this feeling for 4 years now

Hi kerry I'm 21 year old guy and I'm having the same problem. I don't know what to do. And I have been stressed out lately and have poor habits eating. It's really annoying and it creeps me out. I reed on the net that if you push it, it goes in behind the rib and I guess it gets worse! Should give Dr. a visit!

Ive been having this as well, it is tingling on my left side just under my rib cage. I had been diagnosed with a gallstone in my pancreatic duct 5 months ago and removed 2 months ago. This gave me a severe case of pancreatitis the doctors are telling me. its been a long road to recovery but now the pain is more mild with this tingling now. Im hoping that its part of the healing process. If some of you are having this tingling on the left side it may be slight spleen or pancreas issues, if on the right it may be liver or gallbladder issues. I would have docs check for swelling of one of these organs to start.

Have you seen the doctor? Did you figure out what it is? People will keep commenting here but i guess all of us with this problem are just speculating because it cost too much and most of us here just worry about our health, hehe...

I have had this feeling on and off for a number of months.
It seems to go away and then suddenly appear again.... after reading all the stuff people have posted on line about having doctors baffled, I have decided to wait a little longer before going thru a bunch of tests.
For one thing, I am revamping my diet. No fast food. More veges and I'm drinking homemade cleansing smoothies (made with ingredients like kale, cranberries, banana, coconut milk, avocado, etc.). I have also begun drinking flax seed (and taking GasX for now), drinking a full 8 glasses of water (64oz) daily and gave up my sweet tea addiction -- instead I have hot green tea in the mornings.
In just 1 day the feeling of tingling/air bubble was gone. In just two days I feel almost completely normal.
I need to lose weight and so I am going to see if a better diet and weight loss don't make a difference for me.
