Both of these medications are antidepressants. They are used in cases of serious condition when the person is under the great pressure and feeling stress and anxiety. This is why your father has problems with sleeping. You must talk to him. Try to find out the reason of his stress. That is the only way to help him.
I just wanted to let Auberon know that only part of the first answer she received about her question was only partially true, in fact I am taking both of those medications my self and the wellbutrin is an antidepressant but is also used to help you quit smoking and the Klonapin is an anti anxiety med, also used to treat panic attacks and nervousness, I hope this helps. best wishes to you and your family. Hi, I wanted to second Caroljeans reply. I, too, take Wellbutrin and Klonopin. Klonopin is NOT an anti-depressant, it is an anti-anxiety medication, in the valium family. Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant.
