wellbutrin interaction with marijuana

The doctor/patience confidentiality is null and void if for any reason you have children and are using Marijuana. The Dept . of Social Services get access to your records which can be used against you in court. I trusted my Doctor and he rev-ailed everything I told him when asked . This is in Massachusetts.

I'm currently trying 150mg (i weigh 90lbs) of wellbutrin and I am a straight stoner. I do feel that the high comes on strong but it kinda makes me feel like I'm drunk with a bit of a headache. I did just start taking the meds this week. Now do you think after getting use to the drug that smoking affects will go back to normal?

This happened to me also. I take Wellbutrin as well as Seroquel and another anti-depressant. I drank quite a bit one night for a celebration and I took one hit and started feeling my world crash. All I remember is a really long horrible night of feeling like I was dying and seizures on and off.

I've smoked weed since I was 12, I'm 23 now, I quit last year and it took over 5 months and my level was still at 28... So shitty metabolism or not it can take a long time to get out of your system, you don't know it all

Exactly! I was thinking that person is an id**t...maybe they were thinking 3 weeks, not 3 months, because that's usually how long it takes for me to take a clean urine test and I smoke daily. I'm on 150 mg wellbutrin xl and I just smoked last night for the first time in 3 weeks. I don't like the wellbutrin it was making my heart race and pound and making me sweaty all the time, I'm going to ask for a lower dose. I only plan on smoking every once in a while, not regularly. I feel fine today, no interaction, no depression, no psychosis.

You obviously do not know what your talking about. Marijuana interferes with psychotropic meds, medicine used to treat mental health disorders. I just love the way all these stoners get on here and just run off on things they know nothing about...like medication and combining with marijuana use...you do nothing but distort the truth to further the myth that marijuana use is innocuous...BIG LIE!

wow the poster is remarkably well read on the bupropion cheeba dynamic. i learned a lot.

on the other hand ive smoked mary j. and taken welbutrin since the late 90s. This is the first ive heard of all those potential issues.

Hello I read your response and wanted to know if you quite smoking by chance? I never knew of the memory loss but have had major memory issues since I began taking the Wellbutrin. If you did how did you feel and did anything change?
