My fiancée is suffering from liver cirrhosis caused by gallbladder and bile duct issues and he also has Chron’s disease. So, he already does give a lot of attention to his diet even though it’s hard to say which food and when will trigger the next Chron’s attack. I’ve read some basic info about diet for people with liver conditions and it’s confusing in my fiancée’s case because he can’t eat carbohydrate and fiber rich foods because of Chron’s disease. Basically, all he has left to eat are lean poultry and some whole grain foods. This seems to risky and I get really scared when I start thinking about how many nutrients he isn’t taking and how much can this cause even worse situation.
