It is unfortunate that we have pot smokers who believe because tests have proven pot to be non-threatening to your lung health. This bloke from Australia is not coming clean. One look at the black junk in his phlegm through a microscope would tell the doctors what it is. It is weed resins and the author of the post is looking for someone to reassure him that
he can continue heavy pot smoking.

Hi I've been sick for a few days now but only today I realised that I'm coughing up black phlem, I have been smoking weed for about 6 months maybe 1 year and I have also been smoking cigarettes. If I quit will it go away and heal up. :/

If you look closely and see that it is full of little black bits of debris, it is weed resin. Though not an immediate danger
you should take a break from weed. Cigarette smoking is far more dangerous than weed but it has been proven that
weed, when added to cigarettes, is worse that cigarettes alone. The damage caused by cigarettes is made worse by adding weed to the mixture. If you only smoke weed, there would be much less black stuff in your phlegm because the cigarettes cause the black stuff to cling to the lungs. Note: I smoked weed and ciggs for 35 years and I finally quit smoking cigarettes by smoking weed and chewing nicotine gum. 6 years later, I still smoke weed and I think the weed keeps my lungs from recovering from the cigg damage.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. Lol. But for me mab like when I blow this right nostril like when it feels closed I blow it. But there's like black wet soot looking stuff in my actual boogers. Like I'm not have black mucus. It's like I have black boogers mixed into the others. Like I have flecks of black mixed into my mucus when I blow my nose.

Black mucus or phlegm is usually a sign of an underlying condition, smoking, or exposure to pollutants.

I think about that a lot. I've always had a huge phobia of mold. However, Twice this week I've had black inside my nose. Not spitting anything up. It's been in the middle of the day both times. I know that recently there was a flood in one of the apartments where I live, and a bad one that was connected to my place before I moved in. My husband doesn't have any symptoms, but I can smell mold. My senses are very strong, so I smell everything. My husband can't smell anything. I would think that I would have something coming from my throat as well, but I don't. I'm so afraid it's lung cancer. Does anyone think the same?

Yes That's what I read as well. Mostly air pollutants, but also lung cancer, and throat polyps, that would take an endoscopy to see.
