I heard that meal planning and diet are ket to curing diabetes, of the non insulin dependant type. So, if diet can reverse or do a good job at managing a patient's diabetes, what is the magic diet that helps diabetes patients stay healthy? Your insights would be much appreciated!

Eating healthy, wholesome foods without too much sugar is the best thing. I strongly think that cutting out processed foods from your diet is the single most important thing that you can do to prevent diabetes, but in this day and age that is hard. You can still eat a varied diet, that uses all the major foods groups, and stick to the recommended amount of daily calories at the same time.
