Thank you so much. Your help is greatly appreciated. I have been on subs for about five months and then I had to have surgery on my stomach. If u did a sub oxen don't do any oxey because you will with draw double because the oxey is fighting the sub oxey it makes your body fill like u did pills all day then stoped with nothing don't listen to any one they want you to try it and tell them haw u fill

Bupenrophen seems to be much more difficult to taper off of in my experience and what I read elsewhere. I have found it fairly straightforward to taper from hydrocodone but have found it very difficult to taper from bup. I say, if you are disciplined and serious about getting done with opioids and can taper from hydro or oxy then do it and use bup only as a last resort.

you know i have to agree, if you took a roxy then a few hours later get ready for instant withdrawls but subxone then a roxy later you'll be fine(i know from my own doings)

How many days can you have fun with the oxy, before you have to jump back on the suboxone wagon? I took 1/2 of my 8mg strip last night around 10pm. Took 1 20 mg roxicodone at 7 pm, and another 20 mg around 10:15 pm. Will I be fine through the night and most of the morning tomorrow, and be able to resume back on suboxone around noon.. without feeling any withdrawal from anything?

Edit: took the suboxone last night (Wednesday) at 10 pm. Took my first roxi at 7 pm this evening ( Thursday)
Also, I have an appointment with my sub doctor next Thursday . Will my urine be clean of the roxis by then?

actually if you take a sub with active oxy in your system without ever taking it before it WILL send you into precipitated withdrawl and you will feel like death

Hey I was on vics then norcs then finally Oxys for 7 years. My dealer finally got into a suboxone treatment and I had no option but to quit oxys. I was off of it for 2 months I felt depressed, agitated but not too bad. My dealer started giving me his left over subs at first it was nice every once in a while to help with a craving or bad day here and there, but I started wanting them and it became an addiction just like before bit now I wasn't as high. Now it's been a year later I finally got my own script and I'm here to tell you this is a horrible option. I feel like my emotions are blah, the subs don't make me feel good anymore I have side effects, and when I tried to stop I was sicker then I've ever been. I honestly think getting off oxys was easier, didn't make me sick like this. I feel stuck, I've been wanting to try to go back to oxys and taper down with those instead but risk messing up my treatment.

But methadone is not an opiate per say. It is a synthetic. Just as suboxone is a synthetic.
