I understand how you said you missed the snorting! I've been tapering down off of Suboxone for over a yr. now (medically prescribed btw). I miss the "snorting" part of doing oxy's too. Know this; it is a psychological part of your and my addiction. I think that you admitting that is a step forward. Just try not to do it tomorrow, and then the next day, and then the next day. One day at a time, my friend.! If you miss it, next time snort a sub and that disgusting orange flavor will break you from your snorting habit ( I promise)! Better yet, call a supportive friend to talk you out of it altogether! Hope this helps; you are not alone!

I have a question. I took 2 mg of suboxone and I was wondering if I could take any mg of Percocet. I took 1 mg in the morning and 1 mg around 630 tonight. Is it safe to take it now? It's 930 pm now.

I'm a heroin user, I got high at about 12pm and took 4mg of a suboxone strip at about 9pm so I wouldn't wake up in withdrawal. Huge mistake!! Went into serious precipitated withdrawal about 15 min later and it lasted all night. If your a serious doper(addict 6bags or more a day) you must wait at least 24 hours before your last get high to take your suboxone. Now my question is I took my suboxone, i was good, but I just had to stick a needle in my arm so I shot a couple bags, I didn't get high, but now I'm curious if I have to wait another 24 hours before I take another suboxone or can I take it whenever I want?

I wish I saw your post last Saturday. I'm on suboxone 8mg two times daily. I had a double bunions to my surgery with screws and plates etc. any way they put a nerve blocker in my right leg but couldnt do anything for my left. I'm in so much pain and flipping out. My sub doc ask what are u doing for pain. I said Tylenol pm. He said I will give u 8 mg 3 times daily. I appreciate you telling me take 4 at once, maybe that would help pain. Also they gave me pets 60 of them, but I didn't think I could take them to help with pain and they are only 5mg which is a joke anyways. You have been most helpful thank you so much and please if you have time your information is incredibly helpful.

Not true. Bupes affinity is greater than that of any other opiate woth exceptions of high doses of hydromorphone and of course fentanyl.. naloxone when taken orally/sublingually has NO statistical significance toward the body.. But when insufflated or INJECTED naloxone BA competes with it and then kicks in. But if taken as directed it is virtually jusy there as a deterrent to not Inject/snort. As far as bupe goes, bupes affinity will kick any other opiate including even naloxone off the receptors and fill them, being a partial agonist the sudden replacement from full agonists to a partial causes the precip. WD as well as blocks other opiates from binding.

Listen.. precipitated withdrawal is very real.. you can take Suboxone and then take pain pills or heroin the same day and it won't bother you or make u sick, but you'd be wasting your money because u won't feel your dope... However.. if you do heroin at midnight and you take a Suboxone at 8-9 in the morning it WILL put you into the very worst withdrawal of your life.. it's happened to me twice from taking subs too soon after heroin and its the worst thing ever.. it makes regular withdrawals seem like a heavenly day at the beach lol.. real talk.. people need to put saying that precipitated withdrawal is bull sh*t because it's not AT ALL... To the person who said it's bull sh*t, plz do a half gram of heroin and ten hours later take an 8mg sub, then come back and tell everyone it's "bull sh*t"... I was literally shaking so bad it looked like I was having seizures and I was pouring so much sweat I soaked my couch In a matter of minutes, I was screaming and pleading to god, but believe me...even He will not be able to help u in that situation..

If no other opioids/opiates are in your system then it will not make you sick. If you're just trying to get high from it but don't usually take opioids/opiates and don't have a tolerance to them, donl NOT do it!! Suboxone and Subutex are for people with serious addictions, not for recreational use! I suggest not using anything, but if you must use a pill to get high then try a 5 oxycodone or hydrocodone. Anything stronger than that will be too much for a first time user. 8mg Suboxone is way too much for someone without a tolerance, and is not for recreational use!!
