My friend is 37 years old and he is graphic designer. Because of nature of his job he spends most of his time sitting by computer and for longer period of time he is suffering from low back pain. His girlfriend suggested him to try pilates exercises which will solve his problem, according to her opinion. I would like to know if these exercises will give some results.

Hi, pilates is very old way of exercising but it becomes famous in last few years. It is dealing with core postural muscles which gives stability to your body and gives strength to muscles which hold your spine. It means that this kind of exercises is just ideal for your friend and his problem. Off course it would be good if he consults his doctor before he starts with this training.
