Having been in for day surgery on 21/01/14 and Haida ovarian cyst removed, ablation, sterization and endometrial lazering throughout the "stomach" area, it's taken me 3weeks to be up and around. I was in for 5hours of surgery instead of the suspected 2! I came round and was maxed out on morphine and discharged just 4hrs after surgery with no pain killers or after care advice. I bled after surgery and the day after nothing heavy. For the Nxt 8dYs I had a clear and slightly yellow discharge. Which apparently is normal according to nova sure website! At day 10 I started to bleed heavily and 10days later I still am. Doctors can find no other symptoms of infection (fever, blood pressure, pulse etc) so have been sent home and told it's all ok! Apparently according to nova sure you can bleed for up to 6weeks post surgery! At this stage I'm back at work still bleeding, tired and light headed and on pain meds. I'm just praying it gets better and soon. As fed up of pain blood and woozy ness! Wish you all a speedy recovery

I had novasure procedure done on 11 of Feb 2014. Pinkish, yellowish and brown discharge has never stopped. It really drives me crazy. My dr prescribed 2 types of antibiotics to me as I am having infection. However, my 6-day course will end tomorrow and bloody discharge still there. when it can stop? I feel very worried.

I had novasure on Feb 20th 2014. Still have some discharge. At my recheck the doctor said the discharge could be 4-6 weeks. I also had a D&C, tubal, endrometriosis removed, and my bladder scopped so my recovery may be longer. Mild cramping not bad, no period since Feb 3rd. Only problem is I am a little crabbier then normal. Dr thinks I should have a good outcome because I took some prescription before procedure to prepare the lining and the abaltion machine shut off before it timed out. Good luck to you.

It is about a month after my novasure done on 11 of Feb. Bloody, yellowish and orange discharge has never stopped. It is spotting some day and light the other day. When I hope its gone, it does come back. I am tired of using pads or pantyliners every day. I am very worried. I also need to remove my renal stones by EWSL tomorrow. I feel very hopeless.

I am wondering if anyone has had the procedure in the doctor office with just pain pills and xanax.  They are going to give me 800mg of ibuprofen, xanax, a shot of torodol (sp) and a percoset (sp).  I am worried about the pain and then on the other hand I'm worried I will be overly medicated and them not be able to do procedure.

Curious as to how you're doing now. I had mine 4 weeks ago today and still spotting. I'm quite sure I had a period earlier this week. I too was hoping to never bleed again. Wondering if you still have bleeding?

How are you doing now? Did your bleeding completely stop yet? If so how long post op before they did? I'm very frustrated as well. 4 weeks post op today and same thing, just when I think I'm clear, spotting again

I had mine performed 4 wks ago and was put to sleep thankfully. Procedure should only take apprx 15 min so was a quick great procedure in my opinion. Never needed pain meds, just a couple tylenol the day off. Now I am having my first period since this month, so hopefully it isn't my typical 6 days because it is pretty heavy today. My Gynecologist said that some women will have their periods for 3 months post procedure but that they should get progressively lighter each month, hope that is the case for me.  No smell whatsoever, and yes the fluids leak the first wk, then discharge is minimal. Now that it has been 4 wks though? I am discharging whitish lumps, I am assuming this is uterine tissue coming out I hope? Doesn't appear to be a yeast infection, no itching or anything, just started today. Has anybody else experienced the white chunks coming out?

I had my procedure 9/30/2014 and was not put under. The pain was horrific even though they injected pain medication. After the procedure, the pain was horrible even after Vicoden until the evening and then the pain was mild. Since I felt ok in the morning I went back to work. My stomach area seemed inflamed as my pants were tighter there. I've only had to take Ibuprofin sincealthough I've been bleeding since the procedure (like a light period). Today I felt really tired, weak and nauseaus. After eating I felt better a little better. Maybe I over did things a bit. I hope things will get better!

I had a hysteroscopy, D & C and Thermal Ablation on 13/10/2014.  I had very little discharge (no bleeding) for the first week and then (7 days after procedure) I had a massive bleed for about 24 hours! Now (9 days after procedure) I have the pinkish discharge.  Is the hectic bleed in between normal?  I was expecting to bleed directly after the procedures.  Still cramping on and off too.  Any feedback would be great ..... thanks.

I had the Novasure done 3 days ago and ave felt like I am in a haze since then.  Today I am an emotional mess.  Is that normal?

I had the Novasure (along with hysteroscopy and D&C) performed 2 1/2 weeks ago under general anesthesia. I suffered more fatigue than I expected, just over a week, and even now a little more sluggish but much better. Moderate cramping for only a few hours the day of procedure, and lightheadedness 3-4 days, presumably from anesthesia. Post-op so far just like Dr. anticipated: several days of watery/bloody discharge, yellow/brown discharge began at approx. one week, expected to last up to 4 weeks. I'm not into the smell, but let's face it -- they burned my endometrium and it's shedding something gross. I'm feeling somewhat moody, but appears I'm not alone. We've put our bodies through a rough time, so I'm willing to be patient. Doctor and I are both feeling optimistic. Best of luck and speedy recoveries to you all!

I can only speak for general anesthesia -- yes, it was normal for me. You should be feeling better soon.
