What is that strange shaped object in my stool?

I too have these alien objects in my poop. at first I thought they were put there when I was abducted by aliens :-| , they are that strange, but have changed my thoughts on that due to the fact that they never burst out of my abdomen. no all kidding aside i would like to exchange pictures of these objects to see if we all have the same visitors. I personally have passed about 20 that i have seen. I hate those automatic flush toilets, they dont give you a chance to inspect your excretions.

I am on the slow release metformin and have been finding these shapes too. I have been on metformin for a while though and this has only started recently. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.

i have noticed these oval shaped colored, bean shaped objects in my stool also. Im on metformin extended release, which gives me diaherea. it seems like every time i take those pills i'm running to bathroom. i talked to my doctor about it and she thought it was a worm, she did some test on my stool and the results came back and said it was NO worms in my body, intestines or stool. my blood sugar is not alwlays good and i guess i've found out why because my pills are not dissolving and doing its job. im going to show this to my doctor and shes gonna have to come up with another solution for me and my diabetes. i really enjoyed reading all the discussions on here tonight

did you see a doctors? From your description I can tell you that I have the same visitors. I just got back from a long trip in south east asia.

Yesterday I went to the hospital and by tomorrow I should get the answer.

I have the same problem occasionally and I have a history of Crohn's disease and an ileostomy. I notice them more after drinking milk. I think it has something to do with the inability to digest something in the milk although I have no cramps or any other ill feelings.

I have had a couple of instances of the same thing. I have noticed a couple of things. 1 they are identical in shape and size....inch long, half inch high...bean shaped 2 they are identical in color. ...yellowish/white 3 texture is soft/spongy This tells me that the different items are too identical to be formed/created inside the stomach. Apparently tapeworm eggs are very small by comparison An undigested pill would seem much more likely. Like others...I also take metformin...they are large pills...and if they swell up when combined with moisture maybe Certain stomach acids that would make them about the same size..........any thoughts?

I, too, have passed these weird "pod-like" things. Mine are a definite "corn nut" shape and color. Not bean or garlic clove shaped. I am on Metformin XR and until I read all these posts I was freaking out and wondering all kinds of terrible things. My question is, if these pods are the metformin pills, are we getting any benefit from the pills? I take them for diabetes, along with insulin. I don't want to waste money on a pill that i'm just pooping out!!

i was gettig the yellow thing in my stools and it scared me to death i was itching and started takeing clairton for itching. but it didnt look like what was comming was a clairton. i put claireton in water and it look just like it in couple of hrs i took one out of my stools and put it in jar and it poped open the next day and that scared me to death and figure it was a parisite am i glad i figured what it was. now alli got to worrie abot is the itch

Believe me it is not corn...I have been having these crazy white yellowish bean shape thingds in my poop for over 3 months now and I really get scared when ever I see then. Im going to to the doctor this week. if I get any answers i will post it

Ya even i have the same probleum.This oval shaped thing passes by sometimes one or two in number.

I am also eating Metformin tablet since last 3 months and since then also i am facing stomach upset.

Is this oval shaped thing due to eating this tablet. I take 2 tablets a day.

I dont have any other probleum like pain and al

Should i be tensed for this. Read in an earlier post tht this is due to tht tablet. That's a kind of relief for me as even i have all these probleums since i started having metformin.

Can any one reply to me.

Is it causing any other prob in my body , is it a matter of concern or its all because of this medicine..
