What is that strange shaped object in my stool?

Somehow we have got to get the maker of meteor min to investigate this. I too am having this problem. I went to er for abdominal and back pain and showed doctor but my specimen was several days old. He saw the pills I was taking and said the meteor min I was taking was not capsule formed so don't make since to be medicine. My doctor agrees however finding this site illustrates something is wrong metformin the are now distributing. We need help. I didn't have this problem before

It sounds as though you may have flukes, they multiply very quickly and their is about 7 stages to them, meaning they can look different until full grown, Paratosin, parastat and Biliven has helped me it paralyzes them, so they fall, its also good for tapeworm, Best thing is to drink grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, and find out all you can from our dr, stick with the all natural detox for the exception of a massive infection where they could cause a blockage, Good Luck!!

most of you have parasites unfortunately doctors know nothing about these critters and unless u seek a dr in canada or brazil or mexico...good luck getting any help. please look into natural remedies for parasites most commmonly tapeworm, round and threadworms, candida(looks like tissue paper shreds) and flukes. Because most parasites are egg layers, Take you anti parasitic herbs(wormwood, Clove, black Walnut and stemonna, Andrographis, garlic etc) on a cycle of 10 days on and 5 days off for a period of 3 months average. seek a holistic doctor. MDs know absolutely nothing about parasites even the infectious disease specialists. If its not an undigested pill...you have parasites. we all do. its just up to your immune system and how strong it is to kick them out of the body cause once you are a host and they set up camp in your intestines and orggans...., they dont want to vacate the premisis easily. Stool tests by doctos will miss these. usually parasites hide in the mucous layer of the colon...and only show up n cycles when they die off....avoid food that feeds them. All sufgar, coffee, grains, dairy, etc.....eat to kill them. I recently started taking Metformin, and now have the exact thing your talking about after never having that issue. I had my Gall Bladder removed in 1994, and never had a problem. It has to be the Metformin.. I take four of them, and that is the amount I saw in the toilet.

I just had the nerve to pick one up with tweezers and put it in a tissue...it was a yellow pod and white in the center...I also take Metformin ES for type 2 diabetes. ..1000mg mornings and 1000 mg night...I hope that's what it is because I have diarrhea also when these come out...so does that mean my meds are not being absorbed therfore I may or may not be getting the benefits of the Metformin

Look up symptoms for Celiac disease. Could be a gluten intolerance.

Today I passed what looked like a garlic clove that was hard and fibrous, when I broke it open, it looked like a whitish, cheesy powder was inside...............did you ever get an answer as to your problem? Will be calling Dr. first thing Monday morning.

Thanks I too was "freaked out" by the bean pods in my stool.. I take Metformin also.. I really appreciate the info and feel 195% better ;-)

Undigested Metformin makes sense. I've been having these strange objects exactly the same as described:oval shape about an inch long and half an inch wide yellowish in color and spongy. I am taking 2000 mg Metformin (4 tablets Diabex) since end of April 2014.as I am diabetic. I started noticing it about two weeks ago, not that I look at my poo. It just happened that I looked at the bowl and there it was. Just today there were 3 of them that I noticed. I'll ask my endocrinologist about it.

I confirmed it with the diabetes educator at our hospital. It is the empty Metformin tablet. The literature on Metformin says: "After the active ingredient metformin is absorbed into your body, you may see the empty tablet shell in your faeces (bowel motions). This is normal and does not affect the way Diaformin XR works." The strange object the subject of our discussion has the same shape as Metformin tablet which is a bit smaller. Apparently, the reason why the strange object is bigger in size is because the empty Metformin tablet has absorbed fluid from inside the body. So now I am not worried.

I am a GI nurse and have never seen this before, I have diarrhea all the time from IB and having my gall bladder and sigmoid colon removed several years ago. . I noticed these orangy capsule shaped things several times a week for approx the last 6 months. I too take Metformin once a day but it is round shaped. My A1C are great. i fished one of these things out and cut into it and it was soft, with a white cheesy center. They look like the little peeled carrots you buy in the store. Am not sure what they are but was planning on asking my surgeon about them next time I see him.  If anyone can tell me what they are for sure I would appreciate it. This is definetly not the shell of the metformin tablet, it is too compacted and large to be that.

Same thing here for the first time today, four of them orange and floated. Do not have any stomach issues that i'm aware of.
