I'm 15 too, nearly 16, and i weight 141 and and loosing more each day! (trying at least) your bmi is in a healthy range, and im sure you'd like to look thinner not healthier right? do cardio excersices and try to eat as healthy as you can under circumstances. it's helped me, ive lost 20 pounds in a about 3.5 weeks!
I have the same problem. I'm supposed to eat about 1,800 calories a day, yet I normally eat less than 1,000 calories a day, and usually stay in the range of 121 - 125 lbs. I think it might be water retention, but I don't really know how to prevent it (I already drink lots of water in a day). I find that limiting myself to 600- 800 calories a day though usually helps me to lose 4 lbs in a week.....that is, unless I blow it by eating out at the end of the week, which I usually do. I'm in the healthy weight range, but my goal is to get to 114lbs before my vacation in September.
Hello! my weight is 55 kg and i m 15 years old.. Is m i over weight tell me plz?
I don't think you are overweight. Remember that it also depends on your build. I am 15 and 163 lbs and I am not in anyway unhealthy. I eat right and play a lot of sports so I exercise regularly. I just have a lot of muscle which makes me heavier. Also, according to my doctor I have a larger bone structure. According to most charts I am overweight, but I'm not really because of the way I am built. There is no set weight. Every person is made differently and it depends a lot on your build.
It depends on your height and build, but you also probably have a lot of muscles from sports (I know I do) and muscle weighs more than fat so even if your weight seems high its probably still healthy since you are so active.
i'm 14, and 5'6.5", i'm about 135 pounds. my personal goal is anywhere from 120-130. but what's beautiful is up to you. be confident in who you are, no matter your size. and just because you might weigh more than someone else your height doesn't mean you're overweight. it could mean you have heavier bones, or more water in your body. so there is no "perfect weight" for anyone. but a healthy weight for someone your height is 118-148 pounds. hope this helps!
I'm 15, about 5'6 and I wight about 115 lbs. and I also fit into an M or L. It doesn't matter what size you are. :)
Check the BMI index for a good indication of where you should be. Every body is different depending on their skeletal frame and height. You shouldnt be thinking just about how you look. More important is how healthy you are on the inside. What you are eating and how much you exercise will determine your health. As much as possible try to avoid processed, packaged foods. Snack more frequently throughout the day, drink plenty of water and eat lots of vegetables. Try to get a cardio workout of at least 40 to 60 minutes a day. Imagine trying to run an5k carrying a 20lb sack of sugar. It would be very difficult and you would probably injure yourself. Your emotional health is very important but the beast way you can help is to be in better shape physically. I'm not speaking to you in particular but to everyone in general. Saying nice things may Seem kind but it's not going to help anyone solve whatever struggles they are dealing with.
