i read an article yesterday where a python more than lkely at a missing cat.
i turn on the TV and there are back to back snake episodes.
and losing count of the "SNAKE" topics here.

can't we just all get a long??

evryone, "Kumbayah .........."
The snakes could eat the birds and save us from the bird pandemic.

see how useful that would be, they already help by keeping down a lot of probable pandemics by keeping the rodent population in check.

Don't tell us, tell the snakes!!

I think they like snake stories because a lot of people seem to have an aversion to snakes so it gets attention like gun stories. If someone is killed with a gun they run the story a hundred times but if they get run over by a car or a brick wall falls on them they run it 3 or four times, maybe. So people develop an unrealistic fear of getting eaten by a snake or killed by a gun. We all go to the doctor because they say we need to for our health but the CDC records show doctors and hospitals mistakes kill 10 times as many people a year as guns do.

Isn't it chickens they are worried about??? Or just birds in general.

it's spread to other fowls as well. India had to destro a flock of Pea-fowl (peacocks and peahens) the chickens make the biggest news because it does spread rapidly in the enclosed enviorments of chicken farming. there has been theories that most of our pandemics are diseases that crrossed from agricultural animals over the species " boundary" to humans.

Honestly, the way the media makes it sound, it's a hurricane headed our way, and it's going to be here anytime.
