I think that I have chronic non-infectious rhinitides. It’s probably because I’m allergic to my dear cat. I know that I need to go to doctor and do those allergy tests. But now I want to do something with my stuffy nose. So, can somebody tell me what treatment is the best for chronic non-infectious rhinitides?
I know that over-the-counter oral antihistamines, such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl), clemastine (Tavist) and loratadine (Claritin) can be very helpful for allergic rhinitis. But also you can try combination of antihistamines and decongestants. These are the most common medications for non-infectious rhinitis. They may be available over–the–counter without a prescription.
