My grandfather is 76 years old and he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. I have to say that at one point, this was expected, because he spent most of his life smoking two packs a day. But I am also worried for my husband’s health; he also likes to smoke from time to time. When is a substance considered carcinogenic?
Let’s take cigarette for example. There are many dangerous substances in it. Their danger level gets higher when it’s lit (many are proven to be carcinogenic). There are many chemicals that are potentially carcinogenic (whether their cancer effect will happen depend on many factors). I think that what happened to your grandfather should be a great lesson for your husband to quit nicotine.
