I am starting to be concerned about my two year old son, who has about 30 odd words, but really doesn't do much in the way of forming sentences. I had expected him to be a little chatterbox by now, but unfortunately this is not happening. Should I be worried? Do I need to get my boy evaluated?
I would not be worried about this at this point. Many children do not form sentences at that age, and some even wait until they feel they understand the grammar of a language before they are confident they can speak in sentences. Apparently, Einstein was a rather late talker and we all know that there was nothing wrong with his intelligence!
