I had a bunionectomy 8 weeks ago. I am kind of nervous because I am having problems with the range of motion. I can't bend my toe as I should and it is still sore. My doctor says that I should soak the toe in a paraffin wax and it will help the joint to loosen up. I do most of my work standing on my feet and in a bending or reaching state which would cause me to pivot on my toes. Please tell me that I will be able to bend my toe as I should and when will I be able to return to my line of work.

Apply a heating pad to your foot to increase blood flow to the foot. By
increasing the blood flow, this helps relieve inflammation and eases the
pain caused by the bunion.
Apply ice to reduce the swelling and see your foot doctor if pain still the same after few days.
