Do you feel secure that they are delivering factual, pertinent information? Do you feel that they are delivering stories that you need to know about? Why do you trust the stories presented by that news organization?
I don't trust any of them, they all report things through their own filters. I try to listen to several of them and attempt to figure out what really happened.
The Onion.
Borowitz Report
Mr Aire.
Since I don't keep up with the news, he informs me of the big happenings.
I believe he's pretty factual.

I think the closer it is to local, the more factual it is. National news I always take with skepticism, it's spun from every source and certain angles always intentionally left out. So many national stories, no one will ever get the full picture, so largely I get the gist of big things from Yahoo links on their homepage or CNN in the breakroom here. Trying to learn more just gets frustrating because agendas are way too tranparent anymore. I watch the local 10pm news, read a few different regional newspapers and stay on top of things that I could actually bend somebody's local ear over.
Fox News - They report, I decide.
Fox News mostly. They seem to me to be more fair and balanced than the other large national/world news sources. None of 'em are perfect.
I've always thought that "Weekend Update" on SNL has funnier characters.
Each to his own, I suppose.

Weekly World News. When you read a headline of "Two-headed Space Alien Marries Elvis Clone", you don't need to go any further. :P
The Daily Show and US Weekly. If its not on either of those, I don't need to know.
National Lampoon - the need for factual, pertinent information is overblown
