does it come out of the pores? i have this too
I think you need to go to a surgen. I had that too. They had to cut it and really squeeze the puss we cant.get. they numb it so dont worry. Shouldnt hurt.
I only get these in my groin area and never have put any deodorant/antiperspirant in this area..
Think of it like a pimple. The dirt clogs up the pours and makes a lump of dirt. Well thik of the deodorant as dirt. You are not cleaning all of the deodorant off of you're armpits. I'm a teenager and I had them on both of my armpits for 2 years until I got enough courage to see what was wrong. At first I was scared to bother it because I thought it was cancer but nope. Time to time deodorant will just clog up the pours a d cause a lump that looks like a pimple. If I was you I would consider you use spray on deodorant so then you can prevent that from happening. Also if you shave you're armpits and you didn't get all of the deodorant off then that can cause the lump to. Ways to make sure you get all of it off by soaping up your body waiting a few minutes. Also if you don't think you got all of the deodorant off and you don't want the lump there put baby oil on your armpits then use tge spray deodorant in the morning. I hope this has helped.
Me too!
This has happened to me twice now. I wasn't sure what to do, but to avoid scarring, I tried to gently get as much as I could out, put a glob of toothpaste on the bump, and sleep with a bandaid covering it (toothpaste or baking soda is known for helping extract pus from pimples and has always worked for me, so I figured why not). When I woke up, I took the bandaid off and the remaining pus that had the consistency of deodorant had come out. My concerns are: it will probably come back since this same one has already, also if there is an ingrown hair in there, I have no way to get it out. My regular dermatologist appointment is not for another five months because she is so booked.
This sounds possible, I suffer with Hidradenitis quite severely although it is quite rare so could be a one off cyst!
Nope. You're wron.g
In my case it actually was a ball of deoderant... I have had to have one surgically removed and the surgeon said it was literally a ball of deoderant. I was told not to put deodorant on rite after a shower while my pours were still open. It just absorbs it and makes a pocket.. it smells like deoderant as well lol hope I could help.. Tyra P
I've been using mens deodorant since it's not anti perspirant it won't block the pores as much. you will sweat but hey you won't have as much pore blockage.
I was so embarrassed to even respond until I read your comment. Very logical and since I have been sweating more and having more clogged pores, all I keep doing is applying more deodorant which in turns does nothing but add to the problem. Thank you for putting things in perspective.
This happens to me all the time in it even leaves little holes sometimes but i still don't no what it is hope
somebody out there can help us
somebody out there can help us
I have the same problem, I've had it for a few years now and its gotten worse. What kind of Dr do you see for this problem, and does the hole ever close, I have one on one of my underarm
Ok i agree with guest responding to loving babe!!! Get it seen by a REAL DR... not a Superman wannabe DR. YES we detox out of our under arm, feet & groin areas as well as the obvious sweat, mouth & down stairs! If ur body is freaking out due to an accessive level of toxins, of course if the usual areas cant cope, its gonna come out from somewhere (basic Anatomy & Physiology). Some of u have described blocked lymphs (lymphatic system), raised or broken capillaries(blood vessels), acystic acne (p***y sore pimples), basic acne (pimple),blackheads (build up of dirt & oils) ingrown hairs (pimple onced squeezed, pains released & hair folicle exposed) abscess or boils (hard unsqueezable, painful, bleeding pimple look alike)& even school sores. Calm down on the squeezing & dis-impactions guys... skin integity (do u want no armpit lol).
If it can be removed via heat/cold & possible minimal squeezing, ur ok (just invest in an exfoliating mitt & bodywash with moisturiser).
If it is hard, sore ? Try heat pack or warm bath then squeeze to release.
If no resolution go to:
Beauty Therapist, Hairdresser, Skin specialist, most Masseurs know skin conditions(physio, osteo, myo therapistd) Community Nurse, Dr, it is pretty much endless. Dont feel imbarrised, these a things real human beings face on a daily basis. Love who u are & sort the shitty things we dont like. All the best & GOODLUCK!

This runs in my family. It's nothing to really worry about it can be caused by bactria or it could be Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), also known as acne inversa, is a chronic skin disease characterized by clusters of abscesses or subcutaneous boil-like "infections" (often free of actual bacteria) that most commonly affects the underarms, under the breasts, inner thighs, groin, and buttocks. Im the 2nd part unfortunately. ..
