Hi I’m 15 and have had this problem for about a year and I feel very self conscious about it. Its like i can’t get rid of it and it makes my breasts prickly. Have you found a cause or anything?

I really don't know what they are but from my years of doing hair I've pieced together possibly why they do that. Think of your brows. I've noticed that after years of the "then is in" and being just plain tweezer happy that all those brow hairs that we try to grow back (bc thick is it now!) are thinner and lighter. Thats because when we tweeze the same hairs over and over we eventually compromise the follicle. Hence it comes back thinner and lighter. Now skin that has been stretched is also compromised. SO they grow in tiny and fine. Everyone has that fine hair all over their body. I'm not sure why multiple hairs though. I have them and I always pull'em right out. They aren't cute but what do ya do?!

Yes, i think it's something related to stretch marks. I have them on my boobs, they easy to pull out but I noticed them after I stopped the breastfeeding process.

I did some research, and it's not this. There are a host of other complications that occur along with the hair issue, and only 200 known cases reported in the world.

I have no clue what these are, but i know they arent caused ( or arent only caused) by giving birth or breastfeeding. Im 14 and have never had kids or even had sex yet i have these as well. I think ive had them for about a year or so, but i dont know. I dont think its a huge thing to be concerned about though

Completely normal. They’re called Vellus Hairs and almost have a microscopic feather texture.
