So glad to see I'm not the only one! Mine started showing up after giving birth to my first daughter, and have continued through a second pregnancy and postpartum.

Yeah, I have them around my breasts and on my stretch marks. I haven't had a child (I grew fast). I don't really mind mine but i'm thinking maybe its to protect the areas where the skin is least protected like the stretched areas. its nice to know i'm not the only one.

I have the same issue and also gave birth to my first baby 8 months ago. I do think there is a correlation between the two...but not direct.
Since I became pregnant I have gained some weight...in my breasts and belly. My boobs are huge and they don't get much air circulation between them or underneath anymore...they get moist and stay that way. I am pretty sure this has caused something like a yeast or fungal issue to occur. From my sporadic research/google I have found that this is not uncommon.
Symptoms range but include redness...irritation...fragile/thin skin with blood vessels easily broken from light scratching...funky odor (like foot odor?) ...itchiness...peeling...acne type rash (clogged pores/white/blackheads) and I'm pretty sure that this would effect the hair follicles in a way that could cause hair to fall out easily....and furthermore...many fungus cause hair "like" threads to grow from the spores they reproduce by. I'm not a scientist or a doctor but I have a fascination with fungus and parasites and other nasty things that we all live with...so my imagination leads me to believe that these "hairs" might be foreign to our bodies....which is why they pull out so easily and (in my case) seem to grow from the same pore as a natural hair that doesn't pull out (without expected force...tweezers etc)

I am sure there's a cream for this that a doctor could prescribe...but if it is a fungal bacterial type thing there are probably some home remedies to try first.
I would suggest BORAX (20 mule team) from the laundry section of your local grocery/walmart store. I think they sell it at home depot as well! I would dissolve a lot of it in hot/warm water (until the water won't take any more) and then soak a rag or towel in it and drape it over the area for as long as possible and often as possible.
BORAX is amazing for so many reasons! Do your own research on borax for health or whatever and you will see.
Also probably tea tree oil would be helpful...but don't use it full strength! Mix it 50/50 with coconut or olive oil or whatever oil you choose and apply regularly.

Wiping the area with witch hazel or rubbing alcohol once or twice a day wouldn't hurt...

And keep the area as dry as possible (easier in cooler weather)...but corn starch is helpful to absorb some moisture sometimes...

Also...soak bras in borax water or use in your laundry to kill fungus and bacteria in clothing.

Might want to throw out old "intimatesk there is a correlation between the two...but not direct.

Yes it's called vellus hair. Helps control body temp and is affected by other body changes. Wikipedia has a page for it :-)

Im in my mid to late 40's and the only time I've had nipple discharge is when I was pregnant or breast feeding which was over 20 years ago. For some time now I have had premenopausal symptoms, thyroid issues for years, itchy, tender breasts, hot and sweaty breasts, with new brown and red freckle and blood specks appearing, bumpy little cream hairy strings coming out of the bottom half of my breasts, and I can feel the ducts inside my breasts with a few small tiny lumps. To my surprise, today when I was examining my breasts, I had creamy yellowish discharge escape from both breasts. I'm making a mammogram and primary care physician appointment 1st thing on Monday. From what I've read on the internet, it can be a hormonal issue or menopause symptoms or pituitary gland issue or an inflammation of the breast ducts, etc. It sounds normal but we all should go for a breast ultrasound or breast MRI and hormonal bloodwork because a mammogram doesn't pick up everything. Inflammable breast cancer cannot be seen on a mammogram. Take care. I will post the outcome of my physician appts.

It also just occurred to me that I've had an IUD for four years. Im getting ready to have it removed because im nearing the five year mark. Nipple discharge and the little creamy breasts hair can also be normal too in reproductive aged women and women entering menopause. I would still recommend seeing a primary care physician who has experience with hormonal changes.
