Yes... I have these too mainly by my stretch marks... breast, stomach, butt, hips, upper legs... I pluck them out too. I'm not sure when they first started to come out but never really freaked out or thought much of them till now that I was searching Google for why I have them.

Hello, I have a similar situation except I am a 45 years old and a man. Mine grow out of the side of my stomach. Your post, and the ones that followed, were the closest description's to what I have that I ever found. I have searched for years and all I ever found was the morgellons articles. Mogellons is definitely not what this is. I first noticed the thin white fibers when I was about 10 years old. I would pull them out with no pain and they would just come back. When I pull them out I can feel it at least a 1/4" below my skin, but never any pain or discomfort.. never any blood or puss. In fact they always seem dry. They remind me of cotton fiber only thinner, softer, very white & grow out of the same spot. Seems like there are 25 or so, and sometimes more. Had a doctor tell my parents it was a wart, another tell them that it was a mole. It lays flat against my skin, never itches and the fibers have never grown much more than a 1/4" -1/2" long.Through the years I have had several doctors look at it and have not been able to get any answers. When I was very young my older sister would tell me it was an angels hair. She still asks me till this day, "How's your angle hair growing?" Well not sure if any of you still care about this thread but if by chance you all happen back here please update if you have found an answer. If not I'm ok with Angles hair. :)

It's just vellus hair. Everyone has it. I literally just take a piece of tape and basically lint roll them off.

Same I'm 18 years old and I had them since I was 15. I really don't think it's related to breastfeeding or having kids

This may not be as relevant now, but I was concerned myself. I am a 16 year old girl, with a bust size of 40DDD. I kind of figured these hairs were due to puberty, even though I had hit that many years ago, but I'm still growing, so maybe the hairs appeared with growth? Now that I see a concern with all you other women, I don't feel bad about it, and I know that it's probably a normal reaction to getting older, as in going through your teenage years. I just want to say that I am more conforatable knowing that this seems normal and I am not the only one, and also you should feel fine too. Don't let this define your body, everyone has peach fuzz. I've striggled with my body image, what teenager hasn't, but knowing that I'm not alone makes me feel great. So to anyone who reads this, have confidence, we aren't supposed to be alike and we aren't supposed to let our bodies or men/women define what we should look like.

This might help. Think it's just bundles callus hairs tho. Probably just due to puberty or hormones.

I just discovered these and freaked out and got out of bed to do a web search. I'm 40 years old, one four year old child. My doctor is in the process of trying to figure out if I have celiac and I've been on a gluten free diet for 2 months. In that time I've noticed some definite hormonal changes like acne, thin weak nails, changes to my PMS symptoms, etc. Celiac can cause problems with hormones, so I've been wondering if the way I make or absorb hormones has changed since going gluten free and my body is trying to adjust. I'm glad to hear so many other woman experience this and there doesn't appear to be any cause for concern.
