About two weeks ago I noticed a sudden drastic change in the appearance of my penis. I had some itching prior to this which I put down to irritation and stupidly scrubbed myself quite vigorously in the shower to alleviate it. I'm not sure whether this has caused the problem I now have, but I've noticed a substantial amount of pale skin on the head of my penis and also some on the foreskin/shaft. It isn't painful, but is a little itchy every now and then. It doesn't feel abnormally dry and doesn't flake off. I've refrained from masturbating and sex since I noticed it in the hopes that it would clear up, but it doesn't seem to be changing.
I can almost certainly rule out any sort of STI/STD as I've been in a monogamous for over four years. I haven't changed any of the skin care products/soaps that I used either, so I can rule those out too.
I will see a GP in around two weeks, but until then it's going to worry me sick. I've tried some Canesten cream in case it's something fungal, but it's not changing.
Can anybody give me any insight as to what this could be? I can't seem to find any similar issues when Googling the symptoms which causes me even more stress.
It looks a lot worse than this sometimes, especially after a shower. It generally looks very white when I've had one.

Hey there guest it could be vilitigo or lichen sclareus. I do not believe it is an std... I would not worry much at this point... It could very well be more of a cosmetic issue than a big health concern
