drink up?
is this a new diet or what?
Yeah. Actually something I should be doing any way for blood sugar purposes.
8O ...that's a whole lot of fat that won't do anything for a rumbly tummy.
Get yourself some fiber for the guts to work on.

I eat veggies. But there's not such thing as whole grains for me.
right now, go have a baked boneless chicken breast, a huge one! that will take the hungries away, keep sugar stable and help build muscle. ok, how about a few hard boiled egg whites? ok, a package of tuna fish? i know, they aren't exactly available in the vending machines. sorry. :duh:
i'd bring some tuna though, that stuff in the envelope fills me up and makes me not want food again for a good looooong while.
:coach: to MW.

Actually, I do have I chicken breast here I can nuke. :)
 i swear i'd do it.
my son has finally endorsed the lean protein and lots of it philosphy... it's basically a free food as far as blood sugar goes. i'd only wished he'd of have gone for it when he was in kindergarten.....here's your birthday treat for the class honey...egg whites and tuna fish! :umno:

Kashi Go Lean Crunch. Protein, fiber, carbs, yum. :wiggle: Oh and don't forget the flax seed!
I think I will have to try this stuff just because you're always talking about it.
I agree about the water....did you see my post in the other day's dinner thread that said the same thing? Higher protein = increased load on the kidneys = more water being pulled from the tissues to flush your system = increased hydration needs. <---- Cliff notes version
I think I discovered the trick. Wet...but warm. Broth and herbal tea seems to keep my belly busy.
And from my GI doc--warm beverages help keep things "moving" in the right direction.
