did you have vaginal spotting?
Had this procedure 2 days ago to exclude prolapse and it was excruciating!! That evening got intense pain, nausea, rigors and felt Iwas going to pass out .Went to ER where they found my blood pressure was very low.Started vomiting with the pain.So ended up getting 2 litres of iv fluid, morphine and gravol intravenously.Got better overnight and was sent home when all the blood work xrays and exams didn't show anything. No way am Iever having this procedUre again!! Ithink pain with this procedure is more common than they let on.The ERdoc says he'd seen quite a few.GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
I am so glad to come accross this, i had two viginal ultra soundsdue to a cyst in my olvary within 48 hours and I haven't stopped feeling pain in my insides. I feels like it's bruised. I can't sleep comfrotably because of the pain, and i have notices that i do to the bathroom more frequently than before. I am not sure if there is anything that can be done? I am hoping that it will go away with time. Although, i feel like i should say something to my health provider but how do you see "bruising" down there? i am not up for another ultra sound as i believe that is what caused it... Feeling a bit at lost but reassurred that this is not in my mind given what others have written.
I had a vaginal sonogram yesterday and it was extremely painful a couple hours after the procedure. This is day 3 and still feeling pain in my ovaries and lower abdomen
I had a vaginal ultrasound done last March 2012 and I had tears running down my face from the pain. It was terrible. I told the technician this & she said she needed to push on my ovary so it would "pop" out and be viewable to get a good picture. I thought I was going to pass out. Ever since then (it's Feb 2013 now), I have been getting on & off pain on my right side ovary area. Now they have me scheduled for another vaginal ultrasound. I might cancel it! I was told a petscan may be another option. Two people at the hospital told me this procedure was not painful - well it was horrible and I can tolerate quite a bit of pain.
Hi, I have many, many transvaginal ultrasounds over the years, with no real pain (a tiny bit of discomfort, but that's it). Today I had an ultrasound to look at an ovarian cyst and it as very painful, particulary on the left side, where the cyst is. I was surfing the net to whether others have had this experience and I came across this post. The cyst was already painful, so I am guessing that the pressure on that side aggravated it even more. I just took a Vicodin, hopefully the pain will calm down shortly.
