So my wife gets really dry after one orgasm and then has to stop intercourse. She also says it is painful when we first start intercourse. What can we do to fix this and help our sessions last longer?

If your wife is dry, she hasn't had an orgasm. It can be quite uncomfortable for a woman to have sex if she is dry...so you can do two things to help:
1) more foreplay to ensure she is turned on beforehand
2) use lubricant, like the other guy said.
Its important that a woman is ready for intercourse, so you should try to find out what she enjoys, and make her feel relaxed and happy to start with.

To the guy who said she never got one- bull squash.
I'm a chick and that happens to me a lot. Scientifically, it can be a sign that her body "had enough" meaning max orgasm.. if you want to give her another, you litreally have to start over like it never happened and get her worked back up. I sometimes need a break so that I'm not too sensitive before the next and if he's going to touch me it's like on my back and arms (no tickle/arousal spots) or I tweek out . Hope this helped and good luck

Oh and if she's dry when you first started, she needs more time to warm up.. make sure she's not distracted (kids, work, whatever) cuz that will DEFINITELY make it take longer cuz she's disconnected
