i reel your pain yeo. i have been lifting weights since i was thirteen and i was 4'11. i am 14 now and i am 5'1. the only thing i am worrying about is that is im going to continue growing. my goal is to reach about 5'9 to 6'1

yes lifting weights does affect your growth usually because there will be no room for your bones to grow if mucsel is there. But doing squats does not affect your growth because weights are not involed.

No I started lifting when I was 12 in 6th grade squatting 240lbs bench 150 and powerclean 155 It didn't effect me any it made my bones stronger because of the weight It helps you and I am still getting taller I was 5'5 when I started and I'm 5'7 now So It didn't effect my height or anything it made me stronger So go hit the weight room

well i started lifting when i was 15 and now i'm 17 and i grow 20cm ....just don't do squats and leg press or stand up military press

Weightlifting doesn't affect growth, learn how you grow and then you would realize that the only way to stunt your growth is if you injure your growth plates.

Yes, weight lifting will effect on your body grwoth. You are 13 YO, you must exercise only on your body weight such as TRX, Chinups, pushups, etc.

I am 16 and can bench press 140 kg and shoulder press 45 kg. People have been saying, as I am so young and can lift a lot, it will affect my growth of muscle when I get older. Is that true?
