Hi, Im a 22 year old, fair active male. So about 2 weeks ago i went to the doctor with a pain in my left side, about on level with my belly button, and nausea.
The doctor said it was nothing to worry about and sent me on my way.The pain and nausea got slightly better but then at the weekend it got worse.
On the Sunday I went to the hospital with the same complaint. I had blood work done and such and they said the same, nothing to worry about because my bloodwork was all good. No anemia or such.
So then this week i was fine until about Thursday night when i began to feel nauseus again, and i still feel nauseus now. The pain in my side has pretty much gone but now i have this weird feeling in my arms. Its kinda like really bad nervousness and i kind of feel week.
Since i went to the doctor last sunday i haven't had any dairy products at all becuase he suggested maybe i was lactose intolerant.
Do you have any idea what this could be? Im scared to death its something like stomach cancer, which is probably making the nausea even worse. what do you think?

Hi:
I know it was hard, but I hope that you got answers and did not continue to worry yourself into an unhealthy panic state. If you haven't already, I would suggest that you see a gastroenterologist. It sounds like your symptoms might be related to a problem in that area. Remember, all pain doesn't mean cancer or something serious. It just means that you need to get answers. Don't settle for the "I don't know" answer. You are young, and medical professionals tend to be less concerned because of your age. Don't settle for that. Get to a second doctor for another opinion. Please let me know if you've done that and what you've learned. I hope that you are feeling a lot better now.
