Two years ago I discovered a lump on the lower back of my left testicle and took it to the doctor....I was 13 at the time. The lump was movable and not attached. He told me that I shouldn't worry, that what I was feeling was only my epididymis, and it was fine that I could feel it on my left and not my right. I bought his explination and continued my life.
Just last week I was feeling around and noticed the lump again..like a small lumpy oval on the back of my testie. I continued to feel around and found a string of two lumps on the left side of my testie...not attached to the teticle, but more above it and to the left and a similar set of lumps on the right, not attached to the testie, a little above and to the right. There is also a lump above the testie, once again not attached. Should I be worried about these lumps (they may have been there two years ago when I found the first, not sure) or are they just part of my epidymis, which is naturally lumpy?

It's understandable why you might be concerned again.
It's GOOD that you are doing male self checks of your testicles and genitals. That familiarity will help you in later life.
Your assessment by the doctor that it is probably just the epididymis is probably correct. But, if you are concerned, you could go in for a routine physical exam. If it would help put your mind to rest.
Also, it's not bad to have a regular check up, but be sure to bring up ALL questions that you want answered. Write them down before the exam to make sure they get addressed.
Perhaps someone else will write back with some more help on this forum.
Good luck.
