Yes it would. Marijuana calms people down. It always helped me because I have so many thoughts running through my head and I keep jumping from one to another, but when I smoke, I can focus on one thought and actually relax. The adrenaline glands are on top of each kidney, not sure how the smoke of the marihuana reaches that far. I'm not sure how it works. But I know I have an adrenaline disorder and I understand my mindset and feelings and everything about me well enough to know that marijuana affects my adrenaline disorder, but in a good way.

Are you insane?? "You'll see... there's nothing wrong with you guys!" Who the hell says that!? So I guess by your theory, the tumor in my brain qualifies as "nothing wrong" then, huh? Should I heed your advice and just cure it by popping magnesium supplements? For the sake of your pride, and the health and wellbeing of other readers, please don't post on topics that you clearly know nothing about. All it takes is for one person to be convinced that what you say is gospel and they could end up causing harm or death to themselves. So do everyone else here a solid and just stop. Just... stop.

I too have adrenal exhaustion!! I went to my excellent naturopath and he have me magnesium (google deficiency symptoms of magnesium and it's uses), this essential mineral is no longer found much in our diet because our soils are depleted of magnesium and a lot of our vegetables are grown hydroponically instead of the earth. The magnesium is responsible for over 312 things but mainly our muscles and nerves. If you want a good nights sleep, take magnesium before bed (either magnesium Glysolite or mag-smart). Also Celtic sea salt (1/2 teaspoon) with vitamin C (1/2 teaspoon - 1000 mg). The amino acids is sea salt are key to recovery. Take a good multi-mineral (for lactating mothers only because this one is packed with minerals) and a bio-b6 vitamin with it. Liquid calcium in am. (Note/ always take calcium two hours away from iron which is in your multi mineral/vitamin tablet). Lots of water, relax and try to let thing a go. By all means completely cut out the coffee; it's a harsh one on the adrenals. Note: 90 percent of magnesium is stored in your bones so if you think you can ask your medical doctor to check your magnesium levels, that can't happen. Only 10 percent is in the blood. The medical profession doesn't even look at the adrenal glands!! Good luck, and eat balanced meals and don't eat sugar.

My daughter has a tumor on her pituitary gland and smoking pot or being around someone who does is extremely bad it makes it worse. She does neither, hers is hormonal, produces too much prolactin. See a dr. ASAP.

Hi, my name is Jason. I have Addison's disease (adrenal dificency) I smoke marijuana more than occasionally I take so many pills for multiple nutrient dificency. Seems like doctors are puzzled of what to do anymore. If anyone has an idea of what I should do please reply.
Thanks

You should listen to your doctor and not some bs article online. My mom died from Adison's disease because she never took her medication. Your body needs the hormones produced by your adrenal gland, if they are not replaced your blood pressure will drop drastically causing you to die.

THC stimulates cortisol levels, which can cause an imbalance. It elevates the levels while you are stoned, but then once it wears off you'll suffer from mild adrenal fatigue. This isn't an issue if you only smoke occasionally, it simply contributes to the tired, burnt-out feeling people often get the morning after they smoke, but if someone abuses cannabis on a regular basis the instability could become severe. Not to mention drugs just screw with brain chemistry in countless ways and should be avoided by people with chemical imbalances.

Thank you for the simple explanation. On Mothers day took the wife and kids out to eat, got stoned as usual before eating and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the day UNTIL I sobered up and felt terrible and burnt-out, like never before. I've been smoking and eating cannabis on and off for 24 years. Started at 19 years old. Whenever I quit (pee test for new job) I feel CRAZY. I lose weight become dehydrated and get rapid heart rate with weird blood pressure readings. I'm now going through this again because of a new job prospect, and man is it harder than ever. I seem to be getting immediate relief taking a Homeopathic remedy called "Adrenal Support" by NatraBio. It seems to bring my heart rate down and calms my nauseated and cramped stomach. But, stress easily overides the remedy. I have been taking Kava Kava root (without ethanol or chemical extraction) and this makes me feel great for about an hour. Also taking Rauwolfia which is an herb from India that seems to save my sorry ass from heart palpitations and anxiety. Also taking Magnesium Orotate. Long story short, 20 years ago my stoner friends told me pot wasn't for me ago, after observing my physical reaction to it. BUT, like the dumb man that I am, I went through the school of hard knocks. All of my friends that heavily use as I do are all physically and mentally messed up. I'm not saying there isn't medicinal purposes from cannabis, but we're toasted. As much as cannabis has always made me feel good while stoned, I can't handle it, and for good reason. I quit for good. Wish I had quit in '97. I am a licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist everything I said here is my personal opinion/experience and not to be taken as medical advice, I'm just a stupid stoner.

I think it helps my symptoms but I get too carried away with smoking it. I've had to stop smoking it because of this and thus my symptoms have come back
