Does anyone know if the Yeast/Candida Infection are chronic?
Not really, but once you get the infection, it takes alot of effort and 6-12 months to get rid of the stupid thing. You will need diflucan once a month for 3 months.
Also a critical diet which is sugar free, carb free and yeast free for at least a year. One very important thing is NO ALCOHOL and absolutely avoid refined sugar. These two things will feed the infection.

Can medicine for candida, or having candida/yeast infection/urinary tract infection, cause you to miss your period?
