Let’s make an intimate corner here and discuss something that is not so closely connected with swimming. What are your thoughts when you’re swimming? Are you concentrated or you just drift away and think about something relaxing or about your daily duties that are on the schedule after the training? Or you just want to unload your brain and want to keep your mind blank?

Well, it all depends on the situation. When I’m stressed and tense for some reason I like just to drift away and not think about anything. I just let the water splashing around me and have its revitalizing effects on my boy and soul. And sometimes I’m concentrated only on swimming and no other thought is in my mind all the time I’m in the pool. Those are the moments when I don’t have too many worries and when I’d like to use the training efficiently. But most frequently, I think about nice things that I like and that’s what gives me the motivation during training. I think about my plans for that evening and I’m always looking forward to some pleasant meeting with people I love. That really works.
