hi please could anyone advise my 12 year old son has one testicle bigger than the other he has no pain or tenderness should he go to the doctor is this normal in a developing boy
Hi,

It is fairly common for one testicle to be larger than the other, even in an adult male. How much of a difference is it?

Hope that helps.

well one is the size it has always been and the other is maybe double that what worried me was the actual testicle on the inside is bigger.... say one is a marble the other is a grape size. would just go to the doc but he is adamant he wont go i suppose at his age he is embarrassed.

Hi,

I agree, he probably is embarrassed.

I'm not sure what you mean the testicle on the inside is bigger.

It may resolve itself shortly or it could be a hydrocele, a collection of fluid around the testis.

He should be checked.

Hope that helps. Keep us posted and good luck.
