Why am I still haaving all the PMS and Menstral symptoms -- head aches, dizzy, cramping, sharp pians, very light spotting.....16 weeks after a COMPLETE Hystorectomy?? ? ! :'( >;)
I don't think these are PMS symptoms but the symptoms of menopause. Are you on some kind of hormonal therapy?
Hi Sick of it All: I had a hysterctomy 8 years ago, and still sometimes get cramps, bloating, painful back/breats etc. A good friend of mine still get them 30 years after hers! The good news is every month that goes by your symptoms will subside! I remember cramping so bad about 4 months after I was in tears because that is why I had a hysterectomy in the 1st place. And I thought "how can I still cramp if there isn't anything there?!" The term doctors call it is "phantom pains" your brain doesn't know you have had a hysterctomy so it still pumps out the hormones. I always used to start cramping on the 1st of every month, and I still do, but obviously no where near what I did before. Sometimes you don't get "PMS" symptoms and other times you do. It's weir, this is why God is a man! XD because I female God would never do this to another woman! Have faith, the discharge will stop, the top of your vagina hasn't fully closed yet, thats all. IF your overaries are taken too, you will not get pregnant, but if your ovaries are still there and your vagina is not fully closed you could STILL get pregnant! So be careful! IF you have ovaries you can get pregnant! Don't dispair, it will go away.
