Hello first id like to begin with im a 19 yr old male in relatively good health except for the fact that I used to be a smoker of about 1 1/2 to 2 years i recently quit in light of whats come up. My problem began last week out of the blue it just began whats happining is that my throat area feels tight and swollen even though its not it feels like im have pressure on my throat and it makes it hard to swallow i can swallow liquids and solids fine but it feels like its forced thats a symptom thats remained the same since it began another symptom is that it feels like both my lymph nodes in my neck are swollen even though there not (a doctor confirmed this) other symptoms include neck aches along the back of my neck and swallowing really thick mucus and the constant pressure, those are the only symptoms. I recently went to the doctors over this and they told me they couldnt find anything but i know what im feeling they said they could give me a referal to a ENT specialist but they are expensive and im low on cash. Anyone have any clue on what this problem of mine is?

Hi there, i know that it's probably a pain but it's definitely a good idea to talk to the eENT. I know it's expensive but it sounds to me like there isn't much to worry about. I think that you should talk to the doctor just to make sure it's nothing but please don't just assume it's nothing. Does that make sense?
im 19 to and i feel the exact same way im goin to the ent about it but they think its something with sinus drainage and your sinus's being clogged or something im not sure tho when i go this frieday ill tell you
