I lost about 0ne eighth off the top of my finger about 35 years ago, due to an accident. It is very difficult to trim the nail, as it grows tightly over the fingertip. I cut the nail back yesterday. I noticed two tiny black spots on the skin. Is this anything to be concerned about?
it could be a bruise but you might wanna get it checked out

Hi:
If your finger "tip" is not protected by a nail, you could have injured it without knowing. The only concern would be that they are spots. do you have any circulatory problems. Did you lose your fingertip as the result of a disease or trauma. If a disease, could this be related? If so, you should see a doctor right away. I hope this is helpful. Please let us know what you find out and how you are doing.

Well this might just be some injury that you haven't even noticed. You are missing a part of your nail and it is frequent to have some small injuries. If it does not hurt it will probably just go away in short time. But if it stays longer, then you might want to go and check it out with a doctor.
Keep us posted on your status. All the best.
