Hi Lycan:
Smegma is a harmless accumulation of exfoliated skin and skin oils. It will not hurt you unless it stays a very long time after which it can get irritating and smelly.
The real reason to wash your penis is to prevent accumulation of Human Papilloma Virus, which can cause penile cancer, which is a very rare cancer that sometime occurs in elderly men.
If your foreskin is long enough and it seems to be, you can have oral sex without retracting the foreskin. The foreskin is filled with nerves and it loves to be sucked.
It is really easy to clean your foreskin without retracting it. Here are two ways:
1. Urine is a sterile substance when it leaves the body so it is an excellent washing agent. Pinch the tip of your foreskin shut when you pee. Let the urine fill up your foreskin. You will see your foreskin balloon because of the urine inside. Then release the tip and all of the urine inside your foreskin will come gushing out and clean out whatever is inside.
2. Get a rubber bulb ear syringe from a drug store, pharmacy, or chemist’s shop. These are designed to squirt warm water into ear canals to clean them out. They also work great for cleaning out foreskins. Fill the ear syringe with warm (not hot) water and then insert the tip of the syringe into your foreskin. Then squeeze the bulb and a jet of warm water will squirt into your foreskin and clean out what even is inside.
Some guys have foreskins that have tips that are too narrow to pass back over the penis head. These foreskins may be gently stretched over a period of time to cause them to widen. When your penis is erect, gently pull your foreskin back against the head of the penis. As the head attempts to pass through the foreskin it will stretch the skin a little. Do this every day and in a few weeks or months your foreskin will widen and you will be able to retract your foreskin. Do NOT force retraction.
It works by tissue expansion. Stretching skin induces “mitosis” which is a word that means “division of cells”. New skin cells are formed and the skin expands. The increase in size is permanent. Be patient and let mitosis do its work.
That "vein" is your frenulum. You can look it up on the Internet. It is normal and it is supposed to be there. The frenulum has an artery inside it that provides blood to the head of the penis. You don't want to cut or tear it because of that artery.
You can stretch the frenulum just like you do your foreskin. That is the best course of action if the frenulum is too short to permit your foreskin to retract.
hey guys! i have suffered from this problem myself since i was a teen.....didnt notice anything was wrong till i got a girlfriend when i was 20 when i felt pain and discomfort when having intercourse and oral sex.....over time my foreskin has gotten more loose and im able to retract it now without any problems while soft....though when erect it is still tight but if lubricated and the skin is relaxed and warm it actually goes back all the way, im 24 now so guys just be patient over time if you keep stretching it and touching it in the shower to desensitize it you should see improvements
Hi Find roommate:
Urologists make lots of money from doing circumcisions, so many urologists will recommend circumcision to anyone with a foreskin. One must be very careful about such advice.
Long foreskins are not an indication for circumcision and neither is phimosis. Phimosis is a condition, not a disease, and does not require treatment. One may correct phimosis if one wishes by manual stretching.
Adult circumcision is an elective surgical operation to injure the penis and reduce its size and sensation by cutting off the nerve-laden sexually sensitive foreskin. Adult circumcision is usually performed with a general anesthetic however local anesthetic may be used. Like all surgical operations, it has risks of hemorrhage, infection, and surgical mishap. Loss of the penis has been known to occur. Death has been known to occur.
The foreskin is a complex double-layered structure composed of smooth muscle fiber, skin, mucosa, nerves, arteries, and veins. It is natural, normal, healthy, and its possession contributes to a sense of well-being. The foreskin has protective, sensory, sexual, and immunological functions. It is loaded with nerves and is the site of most of the penile sensation. The foreskin is a “specific erogenous zone.” The foreskin is essential for normal intercourse. Foreskin provides the additional skin needed to allow for penile expansion during erection. Amputation of the foreskin, which is an integral and important part of the penis has very significant adverse sexual and emotional effects.
Nature put the foreskin there for at least four reasons:
1. to provide physical protection of the sensitive head,
2. to provide protection from disease causing pathogens,
3. to provide sensation during sexual activity.
4. to reduce friction during intercourse.
It is normal to keep the foreskin forward over the head for protection.
Circumcision is an injurious, damaging, destructive, and harmful surgical operation that cuts through nerves and blood vessels that feed blood to the penis. The operation is irreversible. You will have the rest of your life to mourn your loss of your erogenous foreskin.
The foreskin is filled with nerves that make it the most sensitive part of the human body, therefore, cutting into it is very painful.
It takes about six weeks to recover from an adult circumcision. But you will never fully regain the lost protection, sexual function, sensation, and sexual pleasure, even if you restore your foreskin.
The cost is about $2,500. Circumcision may be carried out under local or general anaesthesia.
If you should become interested in restoring your foreskin, a search on the Internet for “foreskin restoration” will produce lots of information.
It is possible to extend the residual shaft skin on a circumcised penis to form a new foreskin and is being done by hundreds of thousands of men.
The decision to restore one's foreskin is a personal decision. It depends on how strong one’s feelings are about one’s unwanted non-voluntary circumcision, because foreskin restoration by tissue expansion is somewhat slow. Some men think it is worthwhile to restore and others don't think so.
Some believe that foreskin restoration goes much faster when one is young because there is more growth hormone in the body. The stretching causes tissue expansion and permanent growth of the length of your foreskin.
Foreskin restoration was known in ancient times, but the technique was lost and rediscovered in the late 20th century.
Foreskin restoration works by "tissue expansion". When traction is applied to skin to keep it under tension, the skin react by expanding to relieve the tension. New skin cells are formed and the skin under tension expands. This is a permanent increase. Cells divide to create two skin cells out of one. The process is called "mitosis".
For foreskin restoration the shaft skin is placed under longitudinal tension, which causes it to expand so as to make it longer. As the shaft skin gets longer, one starts to see little wrinkles in the skin. As elongation continues, skin will start to pile up in the coronal sulcus. Then, with increasing length, the shaft skin will start to lap over the head in a little fold. This is the start of the new foreskin.
Continued stretching and skin expansion will eventually cover the head of the penis with foreskin. Over the longer term, it is possible to create a foreskin that is long enough to cover the erect penis.
Foreskin restoration improves appearance. As the foreskin lengthens, the scar from the circumcision is covered over and disappears. The result is a very natural appearing foreskin that is very difficult to distinguish from a natural foreskin.
The increased skin mobility allows better stimulation of the remaining nerves.
The procedure does not use drugs or surgery and the medical profession is not involved in any way. Non-surgical foreskin restoration is very safe and painless.
Foreskin restoration cannot restore the frenulum, nor can it restore the heavily innervated ridged band, however, a restored foreskin does have sensation. Foreskin restoration has beneficial sexual and emotional effects.
There are now several good devices on the market to make foreskin restoration go faster.
Search the Internet for "foreskin restoration" for more information.
Hey mate. I'm having this same issue. Hope it's not weird but how could I see the pics you posted. Want to see if my case is like yours. Because it sounds fairly similar
BJs give you Human Papilloma Virus
Kinda like the same situation as lycan22309 but I was in a panic and too embarrassed to tell anyone (also their was white build up "smegma" and it seem to grow attached to my forskin Furthermore I couldn't take the pain anymore, so I told a male family member and we went to the family doctor. When we when there I remember still having painful erections just waiting then I saw the doctor the family member sitting in a chair watching me I covered my eyes in fear so I didn't see much, but it was a bit painful, after it if I can recall I saw a little sight of vials of blood that probably came from my penis during the process again I didn't know what the doctor did, he told me to clean it and I think gave me a prescription of meds to slow the smegma build (there was still some there after the process) that was back when I was 18, now I am 21 still unable to retract my skin I gets scar now on it they are very painful. I would like to hear help if there is anyway I can pull it down still I looked up the glansie definitely can't afford that even if I wanted to and the skin on a part of my penis looks swollen but it's always like that looks like bumps and too me I think that is was is preventing me to pulled it down and not the mention I'm still a bit nervous to pull it I've been attempting in the bath with no luck I rather hope not to get circumcised I just want to react the head like some people have.
I found that using a penis health creme while doing the stretching helps keep my penis skin nice and moisturized. I think this helps make my sessions more productive. The creme I use is called Man1 Man Oil. You might want to check it out fellas.
The best way to stretch your foreskin is when you take a bath soak for a bit as the warm water will help soften the skin them when erect start to pull your foreskin back to just as its starting to stretch the opening but not painful and hold for a minute or so repeat several times but don't over stretch in one go, repeat 2 or 3 times a day and try rubbing baby oil or coconut oil in the skin to so it will stay supple. You why find when you do this the glands will be very pensive.
If you would like any more help fee to ask :)
