I'm 44 and I never had one except when they forced me to w hormone injections at age 18, then they put me on Birth control pills to try to make me keep having one but that did no good. Then they gave me more hormone injections at age 30 .. A few times and the lining of my uterus didn't respond in the slightest so they gave up .... They never ever cared enough to try and find out why . They're pretty sure I didn't ovulate when they forced the bleeding with hormones ... To me I think there's a pituitary issues but doctors don't care a lick about looking into it, and , well, I wanted to adopt from the age of 8 anyway ... I would have preferred being whole .. But I'm fine .. There are obviously underlying issues .. I suspect less estrogen than I need or thyroid or pituitary, and doctors are idiots for not looking into the deeper cause .. Because there are other issues .. Like intestines that never worked and more and more .... but aside from that , I didn't have any problems from simply not having a period itself ... If you want kids though .. I pray they'll find out what's up and be able to help !

I know that you posted this a LONG time ago but your coment is the only one that's close to what I'm gking through...I'm 20 and have NEVER had my period and I've been to lots of doctors and had many ultrasound s and everything looks normal. And I'm definitely not under weight like some of these other ladies. Anyways I wanted to know if you were ever able to have kids? I want to be a mom some day......

Hi I'm 20 yrs old & I'm currently going through the same thing. I feel like a fish I have never got a period not one. I was also scared of that fact not able to have a child in the future. I went to my gyno 3 days ago and she prescribed 2 medications for the birthcontrol she gave me Previfem & medroxyprogestrone 10mg. I'm hoping it works I know it can't be healthy to not have your period. Talk to your doctor and see what they reccomend

take birth control or have you ever had sex that might speed things up .... take yeast pills .... eat lots of bread ...lots... like half a loaf a day .... good luck

OMG this is why I hate going to the doctor!!! They act like Im foreign or something. I'M 35 and never had one and was told my uterus and cervix wasn't visible and I wouldn't be able to have kids. Well now Im having these weird hot flashes ugh!!!! Whats going on??

You are not alone, I was embarrassed about it, I would fake a period buy tampons and pads while in relationships to fake it. I was in a 7 year relationship and faked it the entire way. Hard pill to swallow. We just have to realize this is how God made us and who knows when we make it to heaven we might be the Top dogs. God has different reasons for things. He doesn't think like we do so look at it as a blessing. #Im trying
