My bleeding lasted almost two months straight. Spotty then heavy then spotty again. I was weak and spacey sometimes from all the blood lost. But it stopped. Eventually. I even went back to the dr twice and they told me both time, i was fine. It sucked. You know what it sucked less than, having a kid i wasnt ready for. I dont regret my decision a day in my life. I took the abortion pill and I went in for my check up two weeks later. I returned 2 weeks after that for a second one because after my abortion I got on birth control and they wanted to check up on it. They did a pregnancy test and it came back positive. They proceeded with an ultrasound to see if I was pregnant again, which I wasn't. The doctor came back to talk to me and she said the HCG hormone was still in me and that was why it came back positive she also said I had very little ovarian fluid from my terminated pregnancy but it would go away. I told her I was still bleeding a month later and she gave me birth control pills to try and balance it out. She explained that my body might not know how to react because it might still think I'm pregnant and the nexplanon was also messing with it so that could be why. However, she said that after 2 months if the bleeding continues I had to go back. It's been 3 months now and the bleeding has finally stopped. Of course, I went on here before and saw some horrible comments that scared me about blood transfusions and hospitalized patients. I decided to post this to calm some nervousness of anyone out there. You must let the doctor who did your abortion know about the bleeding though.

I have been having the same problem since June of this year I had a abortion in June and I took the depo right after but the bleeding hasn't stop and it's December I'm really scared at this point I even went to see my doctor maybe a month or so ago and she gave me pills to take for ten days and that didn't help either

Hi I really feel you. We have the same situation. Me and my boy friend are two years in a relationship. By then after I get pregnant he encourage me to do a abortion and we will a beautiful baby someday. But after I did the abortion he gone. He don't care. He ignore my messages and calls. And until now I regret I should choose my child. Any way I believe in karma and soon he will get it.

I completely understand this which is one of the reasons I had to lose my baby too. It's not something I exactly wanted to do but for the babies sake it was a much better option as I know I would not have been able to put my baby up for adoption after having him/her. My baby was only a few weeks and I also had an abortion however I had to take the pills as I was so early on. I was just wondering (if you ever see this as the post is over a year ago but when did you stop bleeding as my boyfriend and I lost our baby on 23rd January and I am still bleeding. Only very very lightly but it has now been a strange brown/red colour for over 3 weeks. I rang the hospital and explained but she was not reassuring at all and said sometimes its part of the procedure however I'm getting really tired of it now. I am perfectly fine within myself but I just want my body back to normal in all honesty xx

Wow Chantelle that was beautifully said. I too am a believer and follower of ChriSt and I don't believe that we live under condemnation . By His stripes we are healed. Jesus didn't bleed for our sins so that we can chastise ourselves daily, no quite the opposite, we are to repent and let it go, He removed our sin from us as far as the east is from the west.
I too had an abortion 35 days ago and am still bleeding on and off, hence me being on this site.
Thank all you ladies for your in site it has really helped me. As for people making judgements on each other I think it's appalling, no human has the right to judge another.
Personally I think that mindyjean is the real person with the issues here and it sounds to me like she had an abortion too and is disgusted with herself and does not know how to deal with it so is tryna hurt others so as to giving voice to her own inner pain.
