I am 17 years old and smoke pot about 4 or 5 times a week, so fairly often. I have experienced everything from slightly stoned to completely obliterated. However the experience you guys have described has only happened to me once. That particular night I hadn't even smoked more than usual but I was just completely out of it and so was my friend who also smokes quite often. We later found out that we had gotten weed that was laced with lad. We had an extremely similar experience to yours and because we weren't expecting it and were experienced we knew something was wrong.
I've never heard of pot causing schizophrenia or disassociation and while I'm not discrediting those claims I think it is much more likely that you got something that was laced especially since you hadn't been around it for a long time and probably didn't have a trusted grower/seller to deal you weed. Being around it more and more I've realized that dealers will always take advantage of new users and first time smokers and a very common way is by lacing it. This makes the user believe that weed should always make them feel the effects of lsd and lsd is much more chemically addictive than weed so the buyers will come back (assuming that they have a good trip unlike yours). This always allows the dealer to promote his weed as being the "best"
Or "high grade" because users will try other people's weed and not feel the same effects.
Whatever your case was I hope this helps!

Dw, and plus it is not all in your head, it is from the weed, those people are BS just to make you chill and relax, but dw it takes 10 days for it to leave your blood/system completely but if you smoke too much it will take 30 days to leave your system completetly, after that you will be back to normal exactly how you were, that feeling is because of addiction when you smoke it you get addicted and you feel like you want more to get relaxed which causes that feeling, so give it 10-30 days and you will feel perfectly normal. Your welcome.

So the same thing has happened to me, i smoked when i was like 15 in the woods (my first time inhaling) and i sat down and all of sudden i had to run to the camper and lay down. I didn't feel me, i had no control over my mind, i didn't know what was going on, and this has happened 3-4 times. I used to understand life and see it in a positive way, now i dont know my own surroundings and i am always confused, i've seen numerous psychologists and took many tests but none of them proved anything. I NEED HELP, i havent been able to feel the way i used to feel before i smoked, its really crazy how all this can happen. I love knowing there are others that have had this experience. but please i need help, is there any medicine i can take to help me, i have tried quitting for like 4-5 months and i still feel the same confused "dazed" perspective. Take to note it is only when i inhale. Is this an Anxiety problem, or depression?

It seems like you are dealing with depersonalization/derealization disorder. It is very scary, but it can be treated. Consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis.

I wanted to help out with this as I have experienced the same issue a couple of times. Long story short; smoked too much, had a bad high, felt a weed hangover for a few days after, didn't feel myself, weird feeling in my head, worrying etc. Basically the same as posted above.
I wanted to assure people having this problem, YOU WILL GET BETTER. THIS FEELING WILL PASS. IT IS ONLY TEMPORARY. NOTHING ABOUT YOU HAS CHANGED, IT IS JUST THE WEED MAKING YOU THINK THAT WAY. In the meantime, try to relax. Things that helped me, take a shower, eat a good meal, drink water, do something you are familiar with; play a computer game, watch a movie you like. Things you are used to, help you feel normal again. Trust me it works so well. I watched football, movies, tv. It all made me feel like "yeah this is me. This is what I like" and I felt connected again. I went to the gym, had a good workout, again something I'm used to doing, familiar surroundings. I got home and I'd forgotten all about the weed feeling. Didn't even realise.
I then made the decision to not smoke again. I've only smoked a few times, but it's just not for me. It doesn't agree with me. No big deal, there's tonnes of other stuff out there. I can still drink beers and do coke!
Don't listen to people who say weed is not dangerous etc. All drugs can be dangerous, and everyone is different. So weed is not for you, who cares. Find another high.
Anyway, to summarize, you're gonna be just fine buddy. Peace out.

Hey, I'm experiencing the same exact thing. I had probably 5-6 hits on Saturday aroun 2am and then my friends and I all went to bed because we were going to st pats parade in Chicago, I woke up still high and ever since Friday, today is Tuesday, I've been feeling like everything is fake, when I scartch my skin I can't feel anything, it's hard to walk, when I say something I can't tell if I actually said it or I just said it in my head. I'm not sure how to solve this either, I felt like suicide was the answer too because I was so scared I went to the ER on Sunday and somehow my blood tests and urine tests all came back negative, they found no drugs in my system so now Im seeing a neurologist. Please reply and tell me if you still feel the same or have gotten better. Thanks..

I have gotten so much better and its getting better! Just give it time and be calm, if you think about it your making it worse. Exercise alot, do some kind of "meditation" with calm music for 20 minutes a day, dont get stressed, be calm and do the same thing you used to do.
Goodluck, i hope you recover quickly!!

No, I stil feel like sh*t. I got so scared I now am seeing a neurologist because I thought it was a normal to wake up numb and basically be high for 5 days, it's the scariest feeling in the world trust me, but if that guy made it through I guess I can too.

How long do you think it took to recover?? Should cancel all the neurologist appointments?
