I have suffered with tonsilitis all of my life, I am now almost deaf with only 10% hearing in my right ear.  I constantly dig out tonsil stones out of my right tonsil with a resulting bad infection in my right ear. It is also difficult to swallow and I feel like something is always in my throat on the right side. I am terrified of this however I am so sick and have been for 6 months now.  Has anyone out there my age had their tonsils removed and how did you do?
