I was doing bicep curls and the weight on my final fourth rep, may have been loaded to an amount a little over what my arms could handle, ultimately forcing me to arch my back and practically swing the weights up to my chest and down using my forearms alone (that thing people do when the weight seems to get heavier and you have very little strength left in your biceps).
My left wrist now seems a little strange. It doesn't really hurt...but there is something odd about it now. When I flap my palms and fingers up and down, I can notice a disparity between the ligaments under my wrist (or whatever they're called...they're hard, bone like things that stick out when you tense your fists) and how much they stick out. I went to my doctor and all he say was that it was going to be ok, and all I needed was to provide my wrist with six weeks of minimal activity, and gave me like a wrist support band. I'm worried. It's been four weeks now...I would really appreciate any words you guys could provide me with. Much thanks in advance. I will be more than willing to upload any photos if you're still unsure about what I was on rambling about. Thanks!
