Jon74 cont... I have seen a trauma release and Breathwork specialist and she agreed with me about my umbilical shock theory. She also gave me a relaxation technique to help with the navel discomfort. She said that I needed to 'soften, gently open..."
I had some resistance to softening but I've got through that now and it's really helped. Releasing the tension, the trauma, the ache and the pain. Opening to health. I have acute sensitivity right near the surface in the navel - it responds well to gently opening - and then sometimes I can feel the urachus hurting inside me. Saying to myself, "soften, gently open' then really helps. Relaxing the muscles around it Then a warm bath. Or resting. My abdomen/stomach often gurgles away during and after releasing as the area relaxes. Some gentle stretching helps too. Hope this is of interest.

Jon74... I have decided to go down this trauma release path and am not considering surgery at present as I feel I am healing gradually. I've never really wanted surgery and as I have the time and space for this trauma release process I'm giving it a go. It releases memories too. Maybe the urachal remnant could have been caused by birth trauma?

I have had time as I have been on health benefits for some years. Now obviously with this awful pandemic I am indoors so I will try and do some more gradual releasing if and when possible. Stay safe as much as possible everyone

Replying to my 21 year old self for reference. It went away for years but I just moved to a cold and dry climate, just felt it today, while fasting and multiple days of consistent dehydration, and getting up from sitting in a lounge chair without cushion.

I still subscribe to the uracus thingy. Same trigger, sitting with bad posture (lately have a hunched back due to cold and lacking egonomics on the move) while being proper dehydrated.

For those with similar triggers, make sure your water level is maintained. I was hydrating from refills of 1L jug throughout the last 3 years in a hot and humid climate. If you get up from a sitting position, and get the shooting pain, curl up like a snail and stay that way for 2-3 hours, then slowly start opening and eventually stretching the abdomen / chest, if you wana pee, hold it as far as you can, because if you do it's gona hurt like a b***h. When better, get on your feet and replenish your body with good stuff.

Whenever I masturbate, my belly is getting bigger every time. Why so? What may be the reason? How to stop it?

I am 50 and have had pressure in my anus. It woke me up on several occasions over the last few years. It is now happening throughout the day. I have pain right below my belly button after each episode. Do you know what is it?

One day after I got the exact same pain (I've had it before) I did what I do every other time I get it - I go to bed and the next day it goes away. But, unfortunately for me, the severe pain went away, and there remained a constant and weak pain in the navel, felt also in the penis (occurs several times a day, not constant). I went to the doctor, he told me there is nothing wrong with you. Then he sent me for blood and urine tests + an ultrasound examination. The imaging doctor (sonographer) told me “You have no change in the internal organs. Everything is fine," the blood and urine tests were also good. And the pain has been going on for half a year now. And everyone says you're fine. And I'm starting to wonder what's wrong with me.

Hi All,
In my experience, the sharp pulling pain from belly button you are describing is due to the urachal remnant. This is a ligament that connects your belly button and bladder. It can be surgically removed. I had mine removed and have never had the pain since.
Good luck!

As a nurse I've seen this in very different setting. As you are only 13 I think prostatitis can be eliminated. Don't be shy and speak to your doctor about it. Other reasons could be too much caffeine, dehydration it sounds like you are pretty active, so I don't think that would fit. Make sure you stretch don't stay in 1 position too long HYDRATE...lol. see your doctor above all.
