I went to my Doctor about ongoing brown sludgy bleeding for a year.
It just so happenned that my PAP required a visit to the colposcopy clinic.
Almost 3 weeks ago I had 2 biopsies to my cervix & 1 to my uterus was taken.
Since then I have been bleeding bright red, lots of clots and major pelvic pain and pressure.
I called my Gyno he brought me in and inserted a balloon for a couple hours to apply pressure to my uterus. That stopped the bleeding for 1 day. He also at that time put me on 2 BCP a day.
The bleeding then came back - just a bad as before.
He brought me on Tuesday for a D&C and hyposcopy. This came back fine and clear.
However, I am experiencing strange pressure and still bleeding heavily with clots.
I put a call into my Gyno he seems very perplexed. He told me to stop taking the BCP and see if my body ovulating and having a period may stop the bleeding once completeing a cycle. This scares me as I'm worried how much more I can bleed :-(
Anybody, else have abnormal bleeding w/o fibriods being the cause? He says he has never seen the BCP not stopping it.
Personally, I'm at the end of my rope....... :-(
Thanks ladies much in advance.

I should also mention that the biopsies came back fine.
1 from the cervix shows moderate dyplasia which is not cervical cancer.
thanks again and appreciate any input :-)
