i've had some of the same issues, but i work in healthcare and i can tell you if you are of an ethnic background, then get checked for systemic lupus: anemia, fatigue, muscle cramps are just a few of the issues we miight see with this disease. If you are currently taking medication that has aspirin in it, this may cause the brusing...defintely, if you are having belly pain with urination or trouble urinating than it is possible you might have a urinary tract infection or an STD...u can get a test for UTI's and STD's @ wal-greens.

i agree with the possibility of the bruising being the cause of the bruising. I have severe anemia and i bruise a lot. but as far as the suspicion of AIDS, unless they're bruises that wont fade or heal, i would'nt worry. Bruising brought on by AIDS seldom if ever fade or heal. so if you're bruises are fading or healing, i'm sure you have nothing to worry about. As for the diarrhea, it could be several factors. it's possible you could have IBS but it could also have something to do with medications or other pills such as vitamins that contain a lot of fiber.

Celiac disease

Celiac disease is a serious disease of the digestive system that can cause a bloated stomach. When this is present, the body reacts to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and added to some commercial foods and medications. The immune system responds to gluten by destroying the lining of the small intestine. As a result the lining becomes so damaged that it can no longer absorb nutrition from food. Malnutrition, anemia, weakness and other health problems then occur. Symptoms of celiac disease include stomach pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea, weight loss and many others. It is possible to have Celiac disease have no symptoms at all. The wide variety of symptoms makes this disease hard to diagnose. Blood tests and intestinal biopsies are the typical diagnostic tools. The only treatment at this time is to follow a gluten-free diet for life. This is a very restrictive diet, and working with a registered dietician is beneficial.

Hi, first let me clarify.....I am NOT a Dr, I have experienced the symptoms you are describing, when I went to the Dr I went thru hell with his prognosis, and went thru quite a few diagnosis, remedies, treatments for several different things. And nothing worked, until he scheduled exploratory laproscopic surgery.....and he found out the I had uterine fibroids. They are extremely painful. The abdominal pain that I experienced on a daily basis would sometimes have me in a fetal position on the floor where I would be standing. It would bring me to my knees very quickly.

I had the surgery and he removed a fibroid from my uteris, that was several years ago, and today I have no more pain.

Good luck to you with it all

Its been a while, hope our feeling better by now. In case your not, ask your doctor about checking your iron. There is something from your stomach called intrinsic factor, it helps absorb iron in the (small intestine) GI tract. With the diarrhea you may have a malabsorption issue. It would explain the bleeding, spotting, and bruising.
